ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the fact that they gave a little history to the SMARTBoard. It's got a short history, but all new technology has a short history. I would have added the social impact of the smart board. The board is a great teaching tool. I've seen it show up in more than one classroom. The most prominent impact of the smart board is its effect as a teaching tool. It improved teaching first, and other than its impact on teaching I'm not completely sure where else it has shown up so far. I'm sure it's underappreciated for its ability as a canvas, but it would be perfect for the job. It would work excellently with a good paint program and a digital pallet. The blog was good and very informative.
ReplyDeleteThe Smart Board is an awesome invention and I personally love working with it! I also think it makes teachers jobs a lot easier. They can write all their notes for the whole week and save them on the Smart Board instead of having to come into class every day and use the chalkboard to write the notes out.
